Increased exhaust system backpressure adversely affects performance and fuel economy. Based on system testing, (not just testing of the muffler) the Mega-Flow™ RV muffler's straight-through, three chamber design offers as much as 30% reduction in back-pressure while maintaining an excellent acoustic reading of 69.5 Db(A). This combination is superior to any competitive model based on published test data, and confirmed in our state-of-the-art engineering facility.
